Motta to date has recorded and released 17 albums as Kai Motta or the High Priest across different genres including folk, acoustic, hip hop, funk, rock, rock & roll and with live bands. Now recording in his own studio with a mix of accomplished musicians and sound engineers new albums are released on a yearly basis and can be found either on the websites or Spotify, Deezer, Amazon etc.

Influences include Bob Dylan, the Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, the Grateful Dead, Billy Bragg, Rakim, the Band, John Coltrane, Nina Simone, Ray Charles, Elvis, Etta James, Van Morrison, Miles Davis and many many more. Music influences Motta in many ways as it plays a huge role in providing the ambience also for when he paints.
